organized chaos

to be an authentic community - we need to experience friction, chaos and conflict. We can't settle for unspoken matters.

I have had conflicts for the past 1 year and 6 months pastoring the church. Some were handled well, some were terribly handled. It is part of the learning process in building authentic community.

Our staff knows that when we have organized chaos, it is not because we want to attack them but we have the best intentions in mind.

The key for organized chaos is trusting your team. We, as leaders must build a culture of trust that when we correct and rebuke - it is because we have good intentions

Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Proverbs 27:5

I think the phrase "need to experience" is a wrong statement. Problems and conflicts exists wherever we go. But there are ways to avoid it.

As Hebrews. 12:14 says, "Make every effort to live in peace with all men and be holy." We are to make every effort to live in peace with all men. Not that we "need to experience" (of course, we will surely experience it) but we are to "make every effort to live at peace.

I do hope you get my point. Hehehe... it is more like positive thinking versus negative thinking that produces negative results.

hi vince,

I think we are coming from 2 different angles. The conflict I espouse is challenging one's thinking and not attacking someone personally. But I do get your point
